Joseph Quinn still cringes over his 'stupid' interaction with Taylor Swift

Joseph Quinn wishes he could forget that this interaction with Taylor Swift existed.
On the "Happy Sad Confused" podcast, the "Stranger Things" star, 30, looked back on some "cringe" moments he experienced after becoming a major star, including when he met the "Tortured Poets Department" singer.
"I met Taylor Swift once, and I said, 'You're Taylor Swift,'" he recalled. "She was very funny. She said something nice about the show, and I said, 'Oh, thanks. You're Taylor Swift.' I meant it as a compliment."
Quinn added, "I remember thinking, 'That was (expletive) stupid.' But she was very good-humored about it."
In a fan-recorded TikTok video in 2022, Quinn previously said he met Swift at a Haim concert.

But Quinn joked on the podcast that he has "a lot to cringe about" from the time he was skyrocketing to fame with his role as Eddie Munson in the fourth season of "Stranger Things," which hit Netflix in 2022.
"It's one miscellany of cringe," he quipped.
The "A Quiet Place: Day One" star also said it was "massively humbling" to get lessons about presenting at awards shows from his co-stars on "Stranger Things," who had more experience with global fame than him despite being much younger. "I definitely learned a lot from them," he said.

Prior to "Stranger Things," Quinn appeared in movies like "Overlord" and British dramas like "Dickensian." But he broke out with his role as Eddie Munson on the Netflix phenomenon, leading him to snag key parts in major studio films like "A Quiet Place: Day One" and the upcoming "Gladiator II."
Quinn is also set to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the Human Torch in the upcoming "Fantastic Four" reboot. He'll star alongside Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby and Ebon Moss-Bachrach in the film, which brings the comic book foursome to the MCU for the first time.

Quinn was tight-lipped about the highly anticipated film on "Happy Sad Confused" but teased that Marvel is "trying to do something interesting with this."

Even though Eddie Munson died in the Season 4 finale of "Stranger Things," Quinn has teased that he could potentially return for the show's final season.
When Entertainment Tonight's Rachel Smith said she has a feeling viewers might see Eddie again, he cryptically responded, "Do you? You have a feeling? Huh. I might have that feeling, too. Or maybe I don't. Who knows?"
Quinn was previously asked at a convention if he would return to "Stranger Things" and teased, "I do know, but I'm not telling you."
